A personal photo project: A year on land at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach, CA. Fitzgerald is known for its tide pools, but I wanted to examine the park from a land-based, lens-based perspective each month for a year. There's so much beauty contained in a relatively small footprint, and it changes wildly depending on the season (and the day!). After a year of visiting the Reserve, I found that my relationship with the place was strongly influenced by the beautiful trees in all their moods and seasons.
